The following are projects that Mr. Gasko has principally provided oversight, project management, developed site investigation work plans or implemented corrective actions.

Petroleum Bulk Storage Facility

North Central Indiana

Issue: The bulk storage facility had historic petroleum releases from the above
ground storage tanks used to contain gasoline and diesel fuels.

Work Scope: Assessed the extent of soil and groundwater impact at the site. Draft and submitted the site investigation and remedial work plans. Provided oversight for the design and installation of a dual phase SVE/air sparge system to address the soil and groundwater issues, completed quarterly monitoring and eventual closure report submittal.

Resolution: The facility received a No Further Action determination from the State of Indiana and reimbursement of a portion of the costs from the Excess Liability Fund.

Service Station Facility

Northern Indiana

Issue: The service station facility had historic petroleum releases from the USTs used to contain gasoline for the purpose of retail sales. The station was an operational site.

Work Scope: Assessed the extent of soil and groundwater impact at the site. Draft and submitted the site investigation and remedial work plans. Provided oversight for the design and installation of a dual phase SVE/air sparge system to address the soil and groundwater issues, completed quarterly monitoring and eventual closure report submittal.

Resolution: The facility received a No Further Action determination from the State of Indiana and reimbursement of a portion of the costs from the Excess Liability Fund. Also, the site investigation activities and corrective action measures were completed without impacting operations.
